After marking your candidate selections clearly in the appropriate boxes, they should be placed in the envelope marked “BALLOT ENVELOPE – PLACE YOUR BALLOTS IN THIS ENVELOPE AND SEAL”.
Be sure to refold the ballots so they fit neatly in the envelope. If more than one identical ballot for the same office is placed in the envelope, all ballots within that envelope will be considered spoiled. Only original ballots with a verified cope 397 logo will be counted.
The sealed Ballot Envelope should then be placed in the pre-addressed, postage paid envelope and mailed through Canada Postal Service.
If more than one ballot envelope is placed in the return envelope those ballots will be considered spoiled. Any ballots returned through Internal Mail will be considered spoiled. The return envelope has your name and address in the upper left corner as the return address. This information is used to confirm that you are eligible to vote. If your name is removed, your ballot cannot be checked against the voter’s list and will be considered spoiled.
To ensure your vote is kept confidential, each Ballot Envelope will be removed from the return envelope. All eligible ballot envelopes will then be placed together prior to their opening.
Scrutineers are present during the preparation, mailing and counting of the ballots to ensure transparency.
All ballots must be received at the MNP Calgary Office by 11:00 a.m. December 5, 2025. No mail in ballots will be accepted past that time. No walk-in ballots will be accepted at MNP.
Please allow sufficient time for your ballot to reach the indicated Accounting Firm’s Address by Regular Postal Service.
Any member that does not receive a ballot, and is eligible to vote, may do so at the Union Office on December 5, 2025 between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Suite #103, 208 58th Ave SW Calgary
Also, if you have any concerns with Canada Post’s ability to deliver your ballot or if you prefer to vote in person, please feel free to vote at the balloting station on election day. The voters list will be cross referenced with the mailed ballots and any votes cast in more than one list will be considered spoiled.
Voters are allowed only to deposit their own ballots on Election Day.
If you have any questions on this matter, please call the Union Office at 403-258-1258 Ext 4.
Fraternally,
HARRY LEW
