ATU Canada – Sisters Speak – Gender Equality Strategy Survey

Sisters of ATU (and allies!),

ATU Canada is reaching out to members (specifically to our sisters) to gather insights through this survey about barriers to full gender equity in ATU Canada. This initiative is spearheaded by Madelin Burt-D’Agnillo.

Madelin is an organizer with ATU Canada. She is a recent graduate of the University of Toronto, and completed her degree in Ethics, Society and Law, and Women and Gender Studies. Madelin is conducting this survey with ATU Canada members to gather insights about the unique gender dynamics present in the union. Your individual survey will not be shared; based on insights, themes, and patterns that emerge, she will be making recommendations to the ATU Canada board regarding a strategy to support our sisters.

Please note: All answers will be strictly confidential, unless otherwise discussed. The survey should take less than 10 minutes, please complete by January 31, 2018, and please spread widely in your unions.

When we name and identify the barriers that impact women’s full participation in our workplaces and union, we can break down the barriers to equity!
