Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 and in compliance with the ATU International, the Executive Board of Local 583 has voted to suspend the April and May 2020 General Membership Meetings due to the lack of ability to be able to have quorum.
the Local will continue to communicate all of the business of the Local on a regular basis during these difficult times.

Mike Mahar we had a meeting where they wanted the membership to be able to have meetings on our computers we won Rick lost and they said they were going to put $50,00 0 and nothing’s happened to be able to communicate with everybody on their own computers and be kept up-to-date with it being perfect but nobody wants to have it on the computer the executive board because they didn’t want the membership to know what they were doing. This particular Union right now seems to be doing a lot more but it would still be easier for most of the membership to be able to look at meeting on their computer thank you
The current Executive Board and myself are working on a method of being able to do that and getting it done as quickly as possible.
