SILVER PIGGY BANK WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE YOUNGEST BABY OF MEMBER IN ATTENDANCE

CAKE WILL BE PRESENTED TO OLDEST MEMBER IN ATTANDANCE

 

   Hot Dogs, Ice Cream, Pop, Coffee, Tea and Water are available.

 

              VOLUNTEERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME

PLEASE NOTE

            The Local By-Laws state that following the Election of Officer’s the newly elected            Executive Board shall appoint any Shop Steward or Job Steward positions they wish to fill.  The Board will also be appointing a number of members to our Standing Committees over the next couple of months.

          If you are a member in good standing and would like to put your name forward to assist in any of the following capacities please submit your name to the Executive Board at your earliest convenience.

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS

 

Dear Sister and Brothers:

          At the Regular Meeting in September the membership unanimously endorsed a motion to    Support Our Troops through distibution of decals to each of our members that would like one.  The motion was to provide one decal to each member on a volunteer basis.  This will be done on the honour system.

          We now have a limited supply in stock and will be distributing them in the workplace over the next few weeks.  Given that this is a volunteer program we do not have hard numbers of how many decals we will require.  For this reason we will replenish our stock as it becomes depleted and thank you in advance for your patience in this regard.

          The decal is yours to place as you see fit.  We do not have permission to place them on any employer's vehicles, so where you place yours will be at your own discretion.
